Victorian to Skintorian?

One thing I can truly say I love is to dress up and get girly! I know we all love to do this every once in a while, and then you have others that don't even want to roll out of bed and just fix their hair to go to out of the house.
I totally understand it matches but not recommended to shop in! I mean come on, they dedicated a webpage People of Walmart.com for this! I have been really obsessed with the Victorian Fashion of the 1900's to about 1960's. All threw these times you were not caught leaving your home unless you looked your very best! Don't miss understand me, I don't think everyone should be wearing a suit and formal dresses when you leave your home. I'm just saying try and at least look presentable. “There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception.”
― Aldous Huxley
This is how someone would dress in the 1900's. Obviously these people had money, but they wouldn't be caught looking any other way.
This is how a woman of the 1900's would look on her wedding day. Beautiful huh?
I wish sometimes these days this was acceptable to wear something this gorgeous everyday! Its just too hot here! I don't see how they did it in these heavy, thick, layered dresses.
This is what they would wear to the beach! It you wore any less you would be fined or thrown in jail. Man how times have changed!

Now we wear our skin proudly as if nobody is looking and work hard to show it off the best we can.
We go out to a club and well all think its a excuse to dress in less is best.
I admit I have made some bad choices in club wear! These days I most defiantly been keeping it classier, Maybe my taste have changed or its because I have no desire to have men gock at me all night. I don't know. I just wish that the time clock could be taken back a bit and have women take pride in wearing more clothes, classy and respectfully. That is all.
